This cleaning fluid is specially made for dissolving cyanoacrylate/instant adhesive or secondary adhesive, as it is called.
The fluid must be in contact with the instant adhesive, after which it dissolves. Thereafter, the fluid and the dissolved secondary adhesive can be cleaned with traditional cleaning fluid.
The time for dissolving instant/secondary adhesive depends on the type of secondary adhesive and the joint thickness.
In short, the cleaning fluid softens, dissolves, and removes cyanoacrylate adhesive. Unlike traditional solvents, the product is particularly notable for being much less flammable than traditional solvents.
The cleaning fluid is specially developed for industrial use.
The product is designed, among other things, to clean dosing equipment, including valves and hoses, with the advantage that it does not leave any condensation or moisture in the system.
This prevents the possibility of the cleaning fluid contributing to the polymerization of the adhesive within the dosing system.
The cleaning fluid can also be used to clean dosing tips, tools, etc., that have been in contact with cyanoacrylate adhesive.
However, there are other variants of this cleaning fluid developed specifically to remove excess adhesive from items.
